Library:
Rules:
- Silence should be maintained in the Library at all times.
- Failure to return the books on time will lead to the payment of fine according to the rules of the Library.
- If a book is lost / damaged, it must be either replaced or appropriate amount is to be paid to the Library.
- All books borrowed from Library must be returned prior to commencement of vacation.
The School Library aims to provide wide range of age appropriate books to motivate the students, to enhance their creativity, original thinking & innovativeness for lifelong quest to discover and explore realms of knowledge.
ATL:
ATL stands for Atal Tinkering Laboratory, an initiative by the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) under the Government of India’s Ministry of Education. ATL lab was established in the year 2018 for Grade: 6-12. Its aim is to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in schools, providing a platform for students to develop skills like:
- Problem-solving
- Critical thinking
- Creativity
- Design thinking
- Innovation
ATL offers resources like:
- State-of-the-art equipment (e.g., 3D printers, robotics kits)
- Mentorship
- Training programs
- Networking opportunities
- The goal is to encourage students to become innovators, entrepreneurs, and problem solvers, preparing them for future challenges.

National Cadet Corps:
The National Cadet Corps under the Ministry of Defence was established in the year 1996 at our school.

“Unity and Discipline”
Aims of NCC:
- To develop qualities of Character. Comradeship, Discipline, Secular Outlook, Spirit of Adventure and Ideals of selfless service in the cadets.
- To create a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life who will serve the nation regardless of which career they choose.
- To provide an environment conducive to motivating young Indians to choose the Armed Forces as a career.
Cardinals of discipline in NCC:
- Obey with a smile.
- Be punctual
- Work hard and without fuss
- Make no excuses and tell no lies.
General Information:
- Selection criteria: Physical test, Height & Weight and Written test.
- NCC classes will be taken from 4 PM to 5 PM
- NCC cadets have to participate in rallies and social activities.
- Participating in National camps like trekking, mountaineering, Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat, Republic Day Camp, Thal Sainik Camp, Army Attachment Camp etc.
- Cadet Welfare Society Scholarships will be applied for the students who are academically brilliant.
Certificates & Examination:
There are two certificate courses in NCC. Below describes about it from lower value to higher value:-
Certificate – A: It can be taken by JD/JW cadets of the NCC, during class 8 & 9 or 9 & 10. After passing those classes it can’t be obtained. The candidate must have attended a minimum 75% of total training periods laid down in the syllabus for the first and second years of JD/JW NCC (All Wings). The candidate must have attended one Annual Training Camp.
Certificate – B: It can be taken by SD/SW cadets of the NCC, after class 11 & 12. The candidate must have attended a minimum 75% of total training periods laid down in the syllabus for the first and second years of SD/SW NCC (All Wings).

Certificate – A will be awarded 10 bonus marks.
(JD – Junior Division, JW – Junior Wing, SD – Senior Division, SW -Senior Wing)
Benefits of joining in NCC:
- Preference is given by various state governments to the NCC ‘B’ certificate holders for Recruitment in the following departments:-
(a) Police Service.
(b) Transport Department
(c) Forest Department
(d) Excise Department
(e) Preference to the Girl Cadets as nurses, receptionists, and telephone operators.
2.Marry educational institutes have allotted special quota to the certificate holders from NCC Preference is given in following fields
(a) Degree and diploma courses.
(b) LLB courses
(c) Govt. Polytechnic and Engineering Colleges
(d) Medical Courses.
SPECIAL EDUCATION NEEDS
Special Education Needs (SEN) dept. was established in the year 2023 to provide support to the students with learning gaps. The special educator works closely to guide the students with learning disabilities (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Language Processing Disorder, etc) in collaboration with the teachers and parents. Remediation is provided through Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). Special educators play a critical role in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment and enable all students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Their expertise and dedication contribute significantly to the success and well-being of students with disabilities in school settings.
Counselling Department:
A Counsellor is one who provides counselling, consultation, coordination and advocacy services to all students, parents and the school community. This department was established in the year 2022-23 to identify developmental, emotional, social and psychological needs starting from Primary to Senior Secondary level.
A Counsellor provides individual counselling, group counselling, and classroom guidance lessons on topics such as prevention of bullying, conflict resolution, and mental health awareness. Students are encouraged to share and talk about issues they might be facing or finding difficult to deal with.
Nurse:
“The greatest wealth is health.”
Our utmost priority is health and complete wellness of our students. This year we have started infirmary room for the students and staff to provide immediate medical aid whenever needed by them. A qualified and well trained nurse is available during the School hours to support the students with first – aid.
