  4. A written test will be administered to assess the grade level expectations and the readiness for the class for admission. Students should qualify in the written test to be eligible for admission. Admissions will be granted on a merit basis. The decision of the school authorities regarding admission is final.

  3. Fees paid are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Shuffling of students:

  1. Shuffling of students from one section to another is a common practice that will be followed regularly to ensure that children are on board with the message and the understanding that this is an opportunity for them to develop vital skills of adaptability and understand the essence of inclusion. While there might be some teething problems, we need to help them understand that, like it has always been, this process will yet again result in providing an excellent opportunity for lifelong learning.

  2. The process will continue systematically with the main focus being the ratio of girls & boys, an equal number of students from each house, and students with various abilities that make a heterogeneous group. The divisions assigned will be final; any requests or applications to change the division will not be considered.

  3. We have seen that in the past, this process has helped children maintain existing relationships, while allowing them the experience of gaining social skills as they make new friends, negotiate friendships across levels, and allowing them and others to experience different aspects of their personality.

  4. As adults, we do not want children to settle into groups since Class -X is a crucial class and we want students of different capabilities to be spread homogeneously across sections. Though many parents and students come with letters and complaints, we explain to them that it is for the benefit of the student. But we are mindful of the challenges it poses and make exceptions when there is a genuine reason. For instance, we do not separate identical twins and children with special needs.

Withdrawals & dismissals:

  1. Parents have to submit the TC requests in writing only. No other mode of submission will be accepted.

  2. All TC requests should be submitted as per the schedule communicated by the school through a circular to enable us to allot the seats to students seeking admission for the next academic year, failing which the Term-1 fees have to be remitted by parents.

  3. The academic year is from April to March. As the academic session commences from 1st April, Term-1 fee is applicable from 1st April onwards.

  4. To obtain the transfer certificate between academic years due to unforeseen reasons, the parent must submit a written application at least 10 days in advance. A transfer certificate will be issued only after obtaining the no-due certificate from the accountant.

  5. The student’s name will be struck off the rolls on the following grounds without any notice: i) Indiscipline ii) Non-payment of fee iii Absence without reason or leave application for more than 15 days.

Admission is based on interaction and merit. Age criteria and eligibility will be as per CBSE and school norms.
